2026-2027 School Wide Service Project
What is The Dignity Project
The Dignity Project is a community service initiative founded by Camilla Marzich, a student at Magnificat High School in Rocky River, with a simple but powerful belief: everyone deserves the dignity of feeling clean, cared for, and valued. The project collects new and unopened hygiene products for individuals and families experiencing hygiene poverty—helping provide everyday essentials that many of us may take for granted.
Through the generosity of our school community, donated items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, body wash, feminine care products, baby wipes, and other personal-care essentials will be collected, sorted, and distributed to those in need through local partners. Every donation, no matter how small, can help restore dignity, offer hope, and remind someone that they are seen and cared for.

Students are encouraged to participate in a variety of service projects throughout the year. Jesus’ life focused on serving others. Using His example, we find numerous ways to help those in need. Students also learn our Catholic beliefs concerning these matters based on biblical teaching, and ways they can incorporate these teachings into their everyday lives.
