Faith Development
Faith Development at
St. Paul Catholic School:
- Children of all faiths are welcomed.
- Students are prepared to be adults through religious, moral, and spiritual development through religious coursework, prayer, regular worship, and service projects.
- Prayer is integrated throughout daily student life.
- Students attend Mass weekly.
- Catholic students receive preparation for the Sacraments such as Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation.
- Our students are active participants in the Mass, sharing and developing their particular talents as readers, servers, or musicians.
- Families are also welcomed and encouraged to participate in the school community celebration of Mass.
- Students participate in unique service-learning projects that allow them to exercise their God-given talents and share the love of God with their community.
- Our middle school classes enjoy faith experiences during class trips. On the 6th-Grade environmental science trip, we worship outdoors during the trip. In 7th-grade students enjoy a multiple-day faith leadership retreat. 8th-grade students celebrate Mass as a class at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception during their Washington, D.C. trip.
